Due to a problem with my computer i had to reset all explorer settings and
reload IE7 however i have now encountered another problem in that every time
i close down ineternet explorer I get a second page on screen which says
about:blank in the address bar, the whole page is just blank and then closes
within a couple of seconds. This also happens whenever i close any other
window that opens from any link. I have run adaware,spybot all to no avail.
anyone any ideas

Look at IE's Tools menu, "Mangae Add-Ons" You may have a remnant of the
about:blank ploy to block some sites. I would also look at the text contained
in blank.htm, in the Windows folders.

Windows Defender has a number of analysis tools to show you what may be
happening in the system.
