Internet explorer loads and runs google only

When Internet explorer opens, the home page is set to
Google. I can browns aroung google with ease, searching
the indexes etc. However whenever I click on a link the
page loads very slowly or not at all. The same happens
when I load any other URL directly into the address bar.
The connection is via ICS on another machine.
ideas would be greatly appreciated

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
