Internet Explorer History

I'm running XP Home, with INternet Explorer 6.
When I try to delete my history, using tools/internet
options/clear history, my history does not delete. any
ideas ?

Hey Steve,

Just to clarify, do you actually mean the history, as in the list of
websites , grouped by day, you get when you click on the Clock Icon in
internet explorer, or do you mean all the websites that get displayed when
you click on the down arrow at the far right of the address bar, or the
automated form filling when you start to type a url or a search phrase ?
