Internet explorer closes immediately after opening

I followed the instructions posted by Ramesh in oct 03 and it worked
for me.

INSTRUCTIONS: GO TO "INTERNET OPTIONS" CLICKED "ADVANCED" TAB - UNDER
"BROWSING" DISABLE "THIRD PARTY BROWSER EXTENSIONS"

What I would like to know now is what is the effect of disabling this
option?

I don't know the answer but don't use Beta 7. You won't be able to use IE any
more and the windows explorer search function won't work until you reinstall
some .dll files that the beta release erases. Not only that, but Microsoft
won't help you until you give them all kinds of information that is not
pertinent to the problem. Opera and Firefox are better anyway and now they
are both free!

Hi,
Try uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar, then re-enable other browser extensions.
Most browser extensions are safe and useful.
