I do not have the line "Enable third party browser
extensions" under my Internet Explorer Advanced Settings
tab. Any idea where it went and how I can get it back?

What's the IE version? This is normal in earlier versions of IE. If you are using IE6 (as you've posted to IE6 groups) and the option is missing, try this command from RUN box:

REGSVR32 /n /i INETCPL.CPL
