internet explorer address bar

I want to know how to remove the memory of the address bar. It removes the
"click on" memory when I clear the history in the internet options tool.
This isn't what I need. For example..if I just type the letter "d" in the
address bar (without tpying www.) it gives me a whole bunch of options not
necessarily even related to web pages (i.e. Documents, digital camera
pictures. I don't want this information stored on the address bar. Please
explain how I can delete this information.
