Keeping websites out of address bar history drop down menu

I have IE6 and I'm want to disable address bar history. I know that you can
delete the history through internet options, but is there a way to make it
not show up at all.

Click on view,,,place cursor over toolbars,,,click on customize,,, on the
right hand column highlight the history symbol and click remove!!!!!

This free program can be set to clear many history/autocomplete items when
IE is closed:

You may also want to go to Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete and
disable various Autocomplete options.
