Internet Explorer 6 browser problem

PLEASE HELP! my browser keeps redirecting me to
about:blank webpage. whenever i log into my hotmail or
yahoomail accounts, the browser just resets to
about:blank. as a result i can't check my email! i've also
tried countless times to reset my homepage to
www.google.com but the browser keeps reseting it to
about:blank. these are 2 extremely troublesome problems.
PLEASE HELP!

Did you run Adaware (www.lavasoft.de) and Spybot (security.kolla.de)? They
might take care of it.

Could be spyware on your machine, go to
www.lavasoftusa.com and download the free download of
AddAware.
