Hello
i'm trying to share my internet connection on home PCs with XP home
editions.
when i go on to the connection properties on the advanced tab, where i
normally (like on a xp pro) would see the internet connection sharing
section, right under the windows firewall section, i dont see anything.

Can i share my internet connection with XP Home edition ? and how ?

Thanks

A lot depends on the type of Internet connection you have.

If you have broadband (ADSL) and the computers have LAN cards, then I'd
strongly advise buying a router. These days they're very inexpensive, are
easier to setup than ICS, and offer better protection against intrusion from
the Internet side.

ICS works the same in Pro and Home Edition. It requires at least two
enabled, connected network connections on the host computer: one for
the Internet, and one for the home network. The home network
connection can use Ethernet, Bluetooth, or IEEE 1394 (FireWire).
