intermittent error

I have a friend in Australia, using telstra (ISP). For
three or four days running, he will get a message that IE
has encountered a problem and needs to shut down, every
time he opens the browser. If he pushes the error notice
to the side, he can continue to use IE. The dump is
incomprehensible to me.

The problem comes and goes. Any ideas what to check or
how to correct?
