Installing Office XP

I recently installed Windows XP Pro on my computer. I had been running on
Windows 2000 Pro and had Office XP on that system. Although the Windows XP
said I could upgrade from 2000, it wouldn't allow that so I created a
partition and have both systems on the hard drive. At this point I am not
able to run the Office XP in my windows XP but it is still usable in the 2000
partition.

Will I have to use the Office XP CDs to install it in Windows XP or is there
another way to access the programs from Windows XP?

Then you did it wrong. Exactly how did you do it?

so I created a
partition and have both systems on the hard drive.

Unless that was what you wanted, what you should have done is ask here
how to do it correctly.

You can use a program in the operating system under which it was
installed. Otherwise you can't (with the rare exception of a small
simple program).

Yes. The same is true of almost every other program installed under
Windows 2000.

or is there
another way to access the programs from Windows XP?

No.
