installing McAfee with out giving up access to my system.

Our company has selected McAfee as its enterprise Anti-Virus solution.
I want to install it and let it update from there EPO server, but I
don't want to let others have access to my system.

How can I disable the remote access ability ?

How can I set it up to only scan when/where I want ?

If I don't use the frame package provided, can I still update from the
company server ?
