Increase several ranges of numbers by a fixed percentage

Dave

Hello:

I've got a bunch of Excel-XP price sheets in which I need
to increase all of my cost numbers by 3%. These numbers
appear in vertical ranges (not named and not contiguous).

I can write a formula to do one cell, but I need a faster
way to increase a whole range, or better yet several
ranges, by a single percentage.

Excel help screens didn't help.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Dave,

In an mt cell enter 1.03. Now copy this cell and select
the range where your cost numbers are. Then select
Edit>paste Special>Multiply

Sorry - that should have been 1.03.
