INCORRECT FUNCTION

hi I HAVE A PROBIEM WHENEVER I PUT A CD IN MY CD-ROM A ERROR MESSAGE APPEARS
THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY CD-ROM THE ERROR MESSAGE SAY E:IS NO
ACCESSIBLE INCORRECT FUNCTION

Turn off Caps Lock.
Turn off the computer.
Open computer.
Check all cables running to the CD-ROM drive - make sure they are firmly
connected.
Turn on the computer and go into the system BIOS - make sure the proper
drive shows there.
Boot into Windows (first time you do this in all the suggestions) and put in
a brand-new stamped CD (I don't care if it is a $1 store CD, a free AOL CD,
ehgatever - brand new/unused.) Can you read it?
If not - go into Device Manager and remove your CD drive from there.
Reboot and allow Windows to re-add the device.
Try again - still no luck? Buy a new DVD+/-RW and replace the defective
drive.
