copying files to cd-incorrect funtion message

when i try to copy a file to cd, i get an "E:\ is not accessible incorrect
function" message. I'm able to copy music to cd thru windows media and I can
read cd's. Any Ideas? I'm using XP.

Hi Doc, As far as I know you CAN NOT just copy files to CD, you Need to Write
them to the CD. you can Burn files to CD , write click on the file, press
send to and then choose your cd rom, then go to your CD-rom drive and start
burning,
