copying files to cd

hello, I an using windows xp prof, I am having trouble copying files to cd. I
select the files, they appear in the temporary window then when I select
'copy files to cd' it comes up with 'no cd in drive' this used to work a
while back. I have a liteon cd burner that burns cd's through NERO so the
burner works fine, it just dosent talk to windows for some reason, thanks for
any help

Nero probably took this function over XP.
Right click on your CD drive. Click on Properties.
In the opening window, click on the Recording tab and check the
"Enable..."box.
If you use Nero again, you will have to follow the same procedure to get XP
to copy to CD.
