Import contacts into Outlook 2003.

When I attempt to import contacts fro excel (orany other file type) I get the
following msg: "The inport/export command is not available. Run outlook setup
again." Well, when I run setup, It says that everything is already installed.
Any ideas?

I would uninstall and then reinstall the Importers and Exporters. To do
this go into Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and select Office and
click on Change. Then select to Add or Remove Feature and click Next. Then
select only Outlook and check the box for "Choose advanced customization of
applications" and click Next. Click the plus sign next to Microsoft Office
Outlook. Now click on the drop down arrow next to Importers and Exporters
and select Not Available and click Update. Then you can go back and add the
Importers and Exporters back and test.

Actually, outlok 2003 (outlook live) is not showing up in the office program
folder, but in its own folder. There is no choice for importers & exporters.
any other suggestions?
