IMAP - processing marked headers.

I'm using Outlook 2003 with an IMAP mail account. When deleting messages,
they don't go away, they just get listed in s-t-r-i-k-e-o-u-t font.

Using "process marked headers" doesn't delete them. I have to use web
access to my ISP's mail server to REALLY delete the mails. What's wrong
here? Please help, thanks.
