P
(PeteCresswell)
XP Pro running on a very small laptop.
I've got the system of a 4-gig "C" drive.
All the programs (e.g. MS Office) are installed on a 12-gig "P"
drive.
Each drive is a separate device (SDD).
I've imaged both C: and P:. P: was less than half full
when the image was taken.
What I'd like to do is re-partition the device that P: is on,
taking a few gigs from P: and creating a "D:" drive.
Question: Will I be able to restore all my program files to P: by
re-imaging it from the image generated when P: was larger -
albeit only half full? Or does the partition an image is
restored to have tb exactly the same size as the partition the
image was take from?
