Question about Image Backup Disk size vs Original Disk Size

Richard

When you make an image of your drive, does the drive you put the image on
have to be the same size as the original drive or just large enough to hold
the data that is going on it. I have a bootable C: drive that is 100GB with
14 GB used. Can I make an image of it on a 30GB backup drive? Thanks

Yes you can re-image it to any drive that is larger than the saved image.
But be aware than when the image was created
it will be slightly smaller than the original hard drive capacity due to
compression.

Works with Acronis True Image too

I plan on using MaxBlast 5 which has Acronis in it and appears to do exactly
what I want. Has anyone had any experience with it?

Based on the pertinent information you stated, imaging should not be
problem. If this is actually a clone question, that is entirely another
thing and has another answer.
