Windows XP Pro SP2 reports wrong partition size after restoring image to a larger partition

Hello and thanks for the help,

Using "Drive Snapshot" or "Image For DOS", when I restore an image of
Windows XP Pro SP2 to a partition which is larger than the original
partition, Windows reports the wrong partition size. In other words, the
original image was saved from a 20GB partition. The restored image was
placed on a 100GB partition. Unfortunately, the restored Windows still
thinks that its in a 20GB partition.

How do I get Windows XP Pro SP2 to recognize the new larger partition size?

* What I've done:
I have a new 100GB Seagate hard drive.
I erased it using Seagate's Disk Wizard.
I partitioned it with one 20GB NTFS partition using BootItNG (I left the
other 80GB unused).
I installed Windows XP Pro SP2 into this 20GB partition (along with all
of my applications).
I created an image of this 20GB partition.

I tested the image by erasing the disk, creating a 20GB NTFS partition,
and reloading the image. It worked.

Next, I erased the hard drive. Then I created one 100GB NTFS partition
(using default settings).
I restored the image.
I booted the restored image (Windows XP Pro SP2).
I checked the size of the C: drive. Windows reported the partition size
as 20GB, not 100GB!

I reused BootItNG to verify the partition size. It reported 100GB.
I reused Seagate's Disk Wizard to verify the partition size. It reported
100GB.
Only Windows was reporting a partition size of 20GB.

* I've attempted to fix this problem by:
Running scandisk.
Under "Computer Management->Disk Management", I've rescanned the disks
(Action->Rescan Disks).
I've searched the Microsoft Web site, Terabyteunlimited.com, and I've
used Google to try to locate a solution.
All of these actions failed to get Windows to report the new partition
size.

How do I get Windows XP Pro SP2 to recognize the new larger partition size?

thanks for the help,
DG
