Image a single partition?

I have a 20GB HD that has three partitions on it. I've been using it
at work for experimental XP images. I have created a suitable image on
the middle partition of this HD and would like to create an image
rather than documenting everything I've done and re-creating it from
scratch.

Is it possible to create an image of this partition with other XP
installations residing on the HD?

Could I use a third party partitioning software to remove the other
partitions and expand the one I would like to use creating a single
partition?

Ghost, from Symantec, and probably any other reputable imaging software
will do this.

BootitNG is freeware, and works great for this. Left side of page, this
Address:
http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/bootitng.html

You might also try "Image for Windows" from the same page, for the imaging.
[I have haven't used it though, as I have Ghost.]
User reviews from Cnet, though, here:
