Image A Single Partition

I have a 20GB HD that has three partitions on it. I've been using it
at work for experimental XP images. I have created a suitable image on
the middle partition of this HD and would like to create an image
rather than documenting everything I've done and re-creating it from
scratch.

Is it possible to create an image of this partition with other XP
installations residing on the HD?

Could I use a third party partitioning software to remove the other
partitions and expand the one I would like to use creating a single
partition?

You can use an Imaging app to image any partition you like.
You can also use third party tools to remove and expand partitions, whether
this would work might depend how you initially set up your winxp on these
partitions.
