IE7 problems

I just formated/reloaded my laptop with windows XP and IE7. Now when I try to
manual update WMP and other windows products. IE7 give me a "cannot display
the webpage" I've tried everything I know. any suggestions?

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
