I upgraded IE5 to IE6 on w2k and IE6 would not show Java applets. Niether
it shows any error regarding applets.
I tried all the three optinons regarding Java Applets available in Internet
Options- Securety (enable-disable-prompt) and no efffect.
What should I do?

aa,
If you are using IE 6 SP1, then that function was removed.
You can use the Sun version here: http://java.sun.com/
