I am having problems with my IE6 explorer. Sometimes it
connects to the net through my router and cable modem with
no problem. Other times I can't even get to my home page.
Other times I get on line but can't connect to any of my
favorites. I tried using Control Panel/ 'add/remove
software' / Explorer - to try a repair but there is
absolutely no reference to IE6 or Internet Explorer in the
list of installed components. I have run sfc/scannow and
get no messages either good or bad. How can I repair or re-
install IE6 without doing a complete Win XP re-install
that will lose a lot of my data? There must be an easy way
to effect a repair?
