IE6 no images

We are using IE6 on Win98. It began not showing images on web pages, like
Go ogle's
logo. If you open Windows explorer and type in the address, it shows up.

Why is this? We ran anti-virus, adware eliminator, checked the 'show
pictures' setting in IE, etc.

Hi ken :)

Try clearing your Temporary Internet Files

Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files

The TIF size should be set to 50-60 MB. Larger caches tend to be more prone
to trouble.
See "Resizing your Cache"

Zone Alarm Pro can block Images in IE

1. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom level>reset custom
level to Medium or Low
2. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>set the slider to Medium or Low
3. Go to this site and read on adjusting the Privacy settings in ZA. It will
explain how to customize on a per site basis.

Kerio Personal Firewall and any other anti-advertisement software you have
on your system will also do this.

Also, programs that are supposed to speed up your browsing will cause this
problem.

If still no joy………..

Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and make sure the box>Show Pictures>
is
ticked.

Tools>Internet Options>Security
Highlight Internet and choose Custom Level.
Scroll down to Miscellaneous and enable "Access data sources across
domains".

Hope this helps.
