I've been running IE6 with XP Home, and after running it for about 5 mins,
it increases in memory usage - usually between 28000k & 49000k. It runs
horribly, links don't work, pages don't load correctly, it hangs, etc..
I've heard IE should normally use about 22000k of memory, so even wghen mine
is low at 28000k, that's still high.
I've tried everything. I've uninstalld/reinstalled, I've even restored my
entire hard drive, but still keeps happening. I tried downloading Mozilla,
and it pretty much acts the same way. I run both AdAware & SpyBot S&D
frequently. I have no idea what is wrong.
Has anyone out there heard anything like this before, and does anyone have
any solutions???
Thanks
