ie6 keeps stalling

I'm using IE6 on Windows 2000 platform. Each time i open
the browser I can only link to 3 or 4 pages before IE
freezes and i'm forced to relaunch the browser. I've tried
the self repair option, even installed a new version of
IE6 but the same thing keeps happening. it's driving me
nuts... does anyone have a cure??

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
