IE6 'freezes' or 'hangs' after IE7 uninstall???

I tried IE7 - hated it - and unistalled same. But now my IE6 "freezes" when I
click on a link or opens a new window. That is, the whole monitor is locked
up for like 3 seconds - then the new page or link opens up...

And I can't figure out to get rid of that? Tried uninstalling then
reinstalling IE6 to no avail too!

Anyone help here? Anyone know why this is happening? It's pretty dang
frustrating!!!!

Should have searched here first...cause I just read a post from an IE MVP,
that commented about toolbars. Went and disabled BOTH the google toolbar and
the dictionary.com one...and IE works like a charm again -- no freezes, no
hangs and windows and links ZOOM open....

Only thing is I like my google toolbar, so I enabled it again and IE still
runs fine.

SO the problem is that when using google AND dictionary together, they must
mess up IE and it's response time. Anyone else using toolbars would be
advised to try to disable all, and then add 'em back one by one to see if
that helps!

Thanks all...
