IE6 Dead and Gone

Hi all

My computer is little old and dusty now (like 4 years) It ran fine until i
did an upgrade to service pack two and everything simply stopped working -
after a few days fixing it i managed to roll the whole thing back to pre
service pack 2 and everything has been working just fine ever scince - until
IE6 decided to update itself and now for no apparent reason it will load one
page then crash badly - i have reverted now to using Firefox as this is the
only stable browser on my machine but i would like to get my IE6 working
again. If you guys know how to then please help.

Kind regards

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

After removing all of the malware per Robear's (PA Bear) message, install
SP2. There was probably some malware preventing it from installing and
working properly.
