IE6 Browser problems

Trying to open web pages that i regularly view (wwe.com,
aol.com, imdb.com)these pages won't open, biut others that
i visit often do open. I log onto AOL and the web sites
that wouldn't come up in IE6 now come up through AOL. AIM
stopped working too. I downloaded Mozilla's browser witht
he same results as IE6...anyone have any suggestions? I
scanned for viruses, uninstalled new sopftware that may
have had driver problems with windows. everything was
working fine until yesterday. Please help.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
