IE6 crashing

I downloaded Internet Explorer 6 SP1 yesterday. Since
then it seems ok downloading Microsoft pages, and some
other sites, but more often than not the browser crashes
at the completion of downloading a page, with the error
message coming up "Microsoft Internet Explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience" and asking if I want to submit an
error report.

Are there obvious reasons for this or tips on how I can
remedy it?

This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
