IE 6 crashing constantly

When I open Internet Explorer, the only page I can view is my homepage
(google). If I try to navigate away from this page, it automatically crashes
and the "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience." box appears. A short while ago, I could
still use internet explorer, but I'd have to open the same page three times,
before it would stop crashing. However, now it wont even do that. I already
have firefox (this is how I'm able to post this) but would like to fix this
problem anyhow.

Thanks for the help!!!

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
