IE6 Command Line Info Needed...

M

Marvin Miller

Hi;

I'm running IE6 and was wondering if I can use a command line to close the
browser.

The reason why is that my web sites log files are downloaded daily by log
analysis software. I have the option to perform a post-processing command so
I have it set to open IE6, go to a web page that actually clears the log
file after downloading. The problem is that it leaves the browser window
open. If possible I'd like to close it.

Does anyone know how to do this?

For XP Pro (from the Support tools):

taskkill /im iexplore.exe /t /f

BTW this is slightly off-topic for this newsgroup.
