IE Toolbar Problem

Nee

Correct toolbar does not show.

I have many toolbars such as Yahoo, Google, RoboForm, and Advance Search
etc.

The problem is when I select the Google Toolbar, the toolbar comes up
RoboForm toolbar. I had such type of problem last year and I used the
"XP_ToobarFix" software but this time this utilities cannot fix the toolbar
problem.

So I am here to get some help.

?????
Please elaborate.
I gave you two links and I checked them both.

The first is a download of a .reg file.
What doesn't work?

When do you get "Document and Settings" opening on the Google link?
When you click on "Reset IE's Toolbar Menu" button?
When you close and restart IE?

I copied the link and patched on the address bar then I got the following
file:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]
"ITBarLayout"=-Then, I use regedit and tried to locate the similar file but
I could not get "\WebBrowser]"ITBarLayout"=-" I got only
"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar"My IE is
Version 7n Beta 2 and OS is Windows XP Pro SP 2."Alan Edwards"

You misunderstand.
You were supposed to save the .reg file and then right-click it and
select Merge.

I have no idea if it works in IE7 Beta and I don't see why you didn't
mention you are running a beta application before.
This group is for IE6.

In IE6 (XP SP2) I have the following key (it is not a file) as shown
in the .reg file:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser

I can see ITBarLayout as a value for that key and could delete it if I
wanted to (which is all the .reg file does)

Hello Alan,

Thank you for the help.

The problems have been solved. First my default browser was set to the
Firefox so I was failed to download the file. So this time I used IE and
patched the link and then I got the file, then saved and merged. Now it
works.

Thank you again.

Nee

You can try this to see if the toolbars get reset:
http://mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IEToolbar.reg

or if you have the Google toolbar:
Go to http://toolbar.google.com/fixmenu and click on the "Reset IE's
Toolbar Menu" button.
