toolbar and new name

After starting Internet Explorer the view (layout) of the
screen changes automatically. Checking <view>,
<toolbars>, I see a name: quppdrstdgd (twice) which most
probably will cause this sudden change of my screen view
(lay out). It adds a new (blue colored) toolbar line with
<search>, <internet explorer>, <internet business>,
<Microsoft word>, etc. It deletes my Roboform and Google
address bar. This is very annoying and I think anyone who
programs this should be prosecuted. Does anyone know how
to get rid of this and / or who is distributing this?

Get ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted
menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from
the system entirely.

Additionally, run Ad-Aware scan (www.lavasoftusa.com). Update Ad-Aware
before scanning

Check your system for "hijackware".

Dealing with Hijackware
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/Darnit.htm#tshoot
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
