IE stopped spawning windows properly

Hi guys
IE6 has stopped launching windows (is it called spawning?) when I click on
links.
It will happily use the current window as the target, but when I click on a
link which launches a new window, the new window comes up but the target
does not appear, and the address bar stays blank.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Try the following and see if it helps:

Opening new browser window - For opening links in a new window

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab>uncheck 'reuse windows for launching
shortcuts'

To keep more than one browser window open at a time, click File in the main
menu, select New, then Window. To close a browser window, click the X in the
top right-hand corner or select Close from the File menu. You can also open
a new browser window with Ctrl+N.
