IE 6 spawns a new browser window when clicking a link

I have a problem with IE 6 spawning new browser windows evertime it
navigates to a new page or a link is clicked. The new window is
maximized and appears on top of the window I was using. The new
window loads the homepage and works. When I first open my browser, my
homepage loads and right when loading is completed, it spawns a 2nd
browser window. If I try using the new browser window, it works, but
as soon as I navigate, a new broswer window opens again. My homepage
is my.yahoo.com. Anywone heard of this?

Hi,

Try the following:

Open Internet Explorer.
Click on Tools, then Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced Tab.
Scroll down, and under the Browsing tab, uncheck the box titled:
Reuse window for launching shortcuts.

Best regards,

Altrus
