IE Search Bar

I installed IE 7 and then Uninstalled. I am now having problems when I do a
search from the side Panel. When I click on a page my explorer does not go
to it. I have reset to default and still I am having problems. Does anyone
have any idea how to fix this

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
