IE Script Error, Line: 298, class not registered ?

I get this message when I open Outlook, it is an IE Script Error and it has
line: 298, char: 1, Error: class not registered, code: 0, URL: outlook today
Can anyone help with this error message, how do I fix this error?

After several failed attempts, following similar steps, with Outlook 2003 --
I got it to work.
