IE Errors

Help,
Every time I try to enter information into a drop down box
I get the error: Explorer has caused an error in
User.EXE. Explorer will now close. If you continue to
have problems restart your computer.

AND

Every time I try to use a drop down button like Favorites
I get this error: Explorer has caused an error in
Kernel.32.DLL Explorer will now close. If you continue
to have problems restart your computer.

Can anyone help..................
