IE Doesn't Ask To Save Password

Hi,
When I visit the Cox webmail page and log in, IE won't ask me if I want to
save the password anymore (it used to). It has not asked me and I answered
no, it's just never asked. How can I force it to save the password?

Hi,

First, some secure (HTTPS) sites disallow password caching. This may be one
of those sites. In that case the rest of this post won't help. ;-)

Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete. Make sure that "Prompt me to save
passwords" is checked. (It probably is.)

Use IE PassView (NirSoft)
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/internet_explorer_password.html to clear any
autocomplete data for that site.

Use IE Passview to recover or export autocomplete data, then clear all
stored login data from Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete. This should
reset the prompt for all sites.

Hope this helps,
Don
