How to restore password save dialog?

T

Tumurbaatar S.

I selected NO when IE asked me whether to save a password
typed on some form and now it does not offer me this more (for
above form/page). But I want to force IE to save the password.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Clearing all passwords should work to reset the "Save Password" option for
that site. IE> Tools> Options> Content> Autocomplete> Clear Passwords.

Protected Storage PassView from http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pspv.html will
help you recover other cached passwords *before* you clear all passwords.

Note that some secure sites, such as banks, don't allow passwords to be
saved.

Don

Reverse this process.

How to Disable Internet Explorer Password Caching
The dialog box that prompts you for your security credentials contains a
check box to allow you to save the password so you do not have to type the
password again when you attempt to use the same document. This is known as
"password caching."
