save password

?

When I entered a password with a username on a web form, IE asked me if I
wanted to save it, and I clicked no. Now I want to be able to save that same
password, but IE never asks me again. How can I get that password to be
saved without clearing all my other saved passwords?

Thanks

If the username is still there in its field's AutoComplete list
delete it from the list. (E.g. start typing it, cursor down to it in the resulting
list, and press the Delete key.) There may be message concerning that
deletion. Then re-enter that username and the password and try to logon
with them. At that time you may be able to restart the cycle of saving a
password with that username.

In addition, the site may have some information about your logon details
encoded in its Cookie. If the previous procedure doesn't work as described
try deleting the Cookie and repeat the procedure. (I don't think that deleting
the Cookie is always necessary; otherwise I would have made it part of the
above procedure unconditionally.)

Good luck
