IE 7 Beta 2

I have always been a Microsoft browser supporter. DO NOT INSTALL THE IE 7
BETA 2 PRODUCT! It has all kinds of problems opening secure pages. We have
a web based piece of software that we use which utilizes a SQL server. That
won't work. It knocks out the MSN desktop searchbar. You can uninstall the
desktop searchbar, but you can't reinstall it because of some cabinet file
issues. Oh, and I tried to uninstall the browser and ended up having to
reinstall Windows on my entire system. First the system wouldn't bootup
correctly. In order to get back to a normal looking OS, I had to go into
safe mode and uninstall XP Professional Service Pack 2. Then I could finally
get back to a normal windows screen. After that fun Saturday afternoon, my
laptop started running slower than I've ever seen it. Video clips are
flashing frames across the screen. I can't update back to SP 2 because of
some unknown reason. I ended up having to reformat and reinstall. Please
don't install this until Microsoft gives an official release and you know
someone that is comfortable with it. The usability of the software is pretty
good, I just don't think that the other providers and the other pieces of
Microsoft software are ready for it yet.

Apparently you are completely clueless about Beta testing.
Until you get a clue, I advise you to never install anything
that is labeled as being in Beta status.

And note the posting from PA Bear -
I am sure that the those in the proper newsgroup will be
most appreciative of your insightful informative posting.
