IE Toolbar

How do get the searchbar to stop appearing on the IE toolbar. I right click the tool bar and remove the searchbar and then lock the tool bar but when I open IE two or three times later, the searchbar shows back up. This is very annoying, and I would like to fix it once and for all. Thanks.
