IE 6 Freezes

I am having problems with IE6 freezing on me. I have high speed internet
through Comcast, but after a little while on IE freezes. My adware scan has
show WinFixer. I know I have not downloaded this, but it keeps hsowing even
after I block it. COuld this be the cause of IE freezing?
