IE 6.0 Patch 822925 Will Not Install

I have run the 822925 patch multiple times without
success. Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer gives the
following message:

The registry key **Software\Microsoft\Active
Setup\Installed Components\{377483c2-e4b4-4ee8-b577-
9aed264c8735}** does not exist. It is required for this
patch to be considered installed.

What are the steps required to correct this problem.

Have you attempted installing Q822925 via Windows Update with your
anti-virus application disabled?
