Actually, Flashget is not spyware, it is a dowload manager (and a very good
one at that) that includes ad serving applications in the free version but
none of these from Flashget actually affect IE. My advice is to tell
Flashget to remove it's entries (somewhere in the option menu) or if
Flashget is uninstalled, reinstall it, then tell it to remove it's entries -
something probably went wrong in the uninstallation.
Anyway, it is a good idea just to check your machine out for spyware
regularly as well, particularly if you download a lot of free programs which
more often than not include spyware to pay for development (rightly so,
although many do it secretly).
